Avaya Appoints MD for ASEAN |

Avaya, a global provider of business communications applications, systems and services today announced that it has named Eugene Chng as its Managing Director for ASEAN.
Chng will be tasked with overseeing business in the region covering Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and the emerging markets of Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Sri Lanka and drive growth to further enhance Avaya’s leadership in the enterprise communications market

“His wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of the industry will enable us to help our customers stay competitive by leveraging Avaya’s innovative solutions. I firmly believe that he will take our business in ASEAN to the next level.”
Chng has more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology, covering sales, product marketing, professional services and business development. Prior to this appointment, he was the General Manager of the Public Sector business at IBM ASEAN. Prior to joining IBM, he has worked for a number of leading companies including NCR, Innomedia and Peoplesoft.
Chng is a graduate of the National University of Singapore where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering and an Executive Masters of Business Administration. |
