Brilliant Telecommunications breaks ground with the BT-750, a Precision Time Protocol (PTP), IEEE 1588v2 client timing device. The BT-750 allows mobile service operators to provide the timing and synchronization required at the radio access network edge to enable carrier-class IP backhaul.
The BT-750 builds on Brilliant's strategy of delivering edge-to-core network timing and synchronization products allowing both legacy circuit-based and next-generation solutions to seamlessly co-exist in the same environment, providing investment protection to existing networks.
"We have developed NGN timing solution that enables the mobile operator to deploy highly reliable IP backhaul to meet the explosive bandwidth demands of 'all-you-can-eat' plans needed to attract and retain mobile subscribers," said Charles Barry, president and CEO of Brilliant Telecommunications. |
