Mcafee Unveils McAfee 2009 Security Suites

McAfee, past week, announced the availability of its McAfee 2009 security suites, including McAfee Total Protection, McAfee Internet Security, and McAfee VirusScan Plus suites.

The highlights of these suites include:

· Revolutionary Active Protection technology to facilitate the fastest detection of malware

· Shorter scan times and quick launch of common applications

· New enterprise-grade spam protection to catch 99 percent of all spam

· Improved protection in the home with network monitoring to alert consumers when intruders connect to their network

· File protection for sensitive financial documents, and safe shop to protect from identity theft and credit card fraud when shopping online

In addition to these features, customers who buy McAfee Total Protection get a Network Monitoring tool that alerts them should someone attempt to connect to their home network. McAfee Total Protection also includes Anti-Theft File and Data Protection. This last feature is offered as a free download.

Available now from McAfee, Internet Security 2009 is priced at Rs 2,699 while Total Protection 2009 costs Rs 3,199 for a three PC license and VirusScan Plus 2009 costs Rs 1,499 for a one-year subscription.
